Tennessee Announces Five Captains for Arkansas Game

Tennessee announced five captains for this Saturday’s SEC clash against Arkansas on Friday morning.

The Vols’ captains include safety Andre Turrentine, defensive lineman Elijah Simmons, running back Dylan Sampson, tight end Miles Kitselman, and long snapper Matthew Salansky.

Salansky has been a captain for all five of Tennessee’s games while the other spots have been more rotational. Sampson is also a captain for a second-straight game after earning the title for the Oklahoma game.

This is also the second straight game that Tennessee is playing a former Vol who has been named a captain for the Tennessee game.

Former Tennessee defensive lineman Da’Jon Terry was announced as a captain for Oklahoma while Arkansas has named former UT offensive lineman Addison Nichols and former UT defensive back Doneiko Slaughter as captains for Saturday’s contest.

Arkansas is set to host No. 4 Tennessee on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET at Razorback Stadium.

Chattanooga: WR Bru McCoy, LS Matthew Salansky, DL Omari Thomas, LB Keenan Pili

NC State: LB Keenan Pili, DL Elijah Simmons, OL Cooper Mays, LS Matthew Salansky

Kent State: OL Dayne Davis, LB Arion Carter, LB Jeremiah Telander, LS Matthew Salansky

Oklahoma: DL Omari Thomas, LB Keenan Pili, OL Cooper Mays, RB Dylan Sampson, LS Matthew Salansky

Arkansas: S Andre Turrentine, DL Elijah Simmons, RB Dylan Sampson, TE Miles Kitselman, LS Matthew Salansky
