Tennessee football resumes conference play on Saturday night when they travel to Fayetteville to face Arkansas at 7:30 p.m. ET.
With a SEC showdown approaching that means there’s a new Tennessee football availability report every night between Wednesday and kickoff on Saturday. The game day availability report is available 90 minutes before kickoff.
The availability report is new to the SEC this season and it is effectively an injury report that lists players as out, doubtful, questionable or probable except none of the teams have to list what the specific injuries that players are dealing with are.
With that, let’s take a look at the Tennessee-Arkansas Wednesday availability report including some notes on the report for both teams.
Tennessee Availability Report
OUT
– S Jourdan Thomas
– S John Slaughter
– LB Edwin Spillman
– DB Montrell Bandy
Tennessee Notes
Very positive initial availability report for Tennessee with both starting offensive tackles Lance Heard and John Campbell not listed on the report at all. Heard missed both of Tennessee’s wins over Kent State and Oklahoma ahead of the open date while Campbell suffered an injury against Oklahoma.
Jourdan Thomas is out for the year after tearing his ACL in fall camp. Spillman and Slaughter are both third string defenders who would have only had limited roles if available. Bandy is a walk-on defensive back.
Arkansas Availability Report

– DB Miguel Mitchell
– RB Rodney Hill
– OL Patrick Kutas
-WR Khafre Brown
DOUBTFUL
