Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel met with the media in Knoxville on Monday afternoon as the Vols prepare to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville this Saturday night.

The Vols are 4-0 on the season and are coming off of a bye week heading into the Arkansas game, an aspect in which Josh Heupel has been quite successful with during his time in Knoxville.

Heupel spoke to the media on Monday afternoon for a little less than 10 minutes as he started his press conference off with a message to those affected by the hurricane and tropical storms in the Appalachia region.

“First, just with the weather that came through this region, just want to convey our thoughts and prayers going out to everybody,” Heupel said. “Everybody that is dealing with loss of power, loss of loved ones. So much damage was created here, certainly in this footprint. And so our thoughts and prayers go out to everybody. And again, hopefully, everybody gets back to normal as quickly as possible.”

Heupel spoke on a handful of topics on Monday including his thoughts on the Razorbacks, Dylan Sampson’s growth, Keenan Pili’s importance against a mobile quarterback, and much more.
