Another week, another SEC Shorts episode.
The popular YouTube comedy series based on the events taking place in the SEC football season mainly focused on the big games of last weekend in Monday’s sketch.
As most would expect, Ole Miss took the brunt of plenty of jokes throughout the short. Ole Miss suffered a 20-17 loss at home to Mark Stoops and Kentucky, who were in desperate need of a defining win after coming up short in their upset bid of Georgia earlier in the season.
The game of the weekend in Tuscaloosa featured Alabama and Georgia in an instant classic. The Bulldogs started slowly on offense but were able to speed things up in one of the great comebacks we’ve seen so far this season. 17-year-old phenom Ryan Williams had the last laugh with a game-winning touchdown for Alabama as the SEC Shorts crew dove into this back-and-forth battle.
For Tennessee, the bye week meant no appearance in this week’s short. The Vols will travel to Fayetteville, AR, to face the Arkansas Razorbacks in primetime at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night. Razorback Stadium will be jumping as the Vols roll in with the No. 4 ranking in the country attached to their name. There is sure to be some prime Vols and Razorbacks content in next week’s short!
