While the event isn’t taking place in Knoxville, the Tennessee Volunteers are set to be one of the feature teams on ESPN College GameDay when the show sets up shop in Norman, OK, this weekend.
ESPN’s College GameDay will cover the Tennessee-Oklahoma matchup on Saturday morning with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe on the call that night in Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
College GameDay announced that country musician and television personality Blake Shelton will close down the show as the guest picker.

While it’s not tough to assume that Shelton will pick the Sooners, the country singer actually has pretty strong ties to both states.
Shelton was born in Ada, OK, in 1976 and stayed in Oklahoma until completing high school. Once that was over, though, Shelton moved to Nashville, TN, as just a teenager to begin his music career.
Shelton was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2010 and was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2014.
Tennessee will have its own country music star in Knoxville over the weekend as East Tennessee native Morgan Wallen hosts a concert in Neyland Stadium on Friday and Sunday nights.
ESPN’s College GameDay from Norman, OK, will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET on ESPN and ESPNU.
No. 15 Oklahoma will host No. 6 Tennessee at 7:30 p.m. ET in Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
