Each week we’ll take a look at the performances of the players who transferred out of Tennessee following the 2023 season.
Here’s a look at how Tennessee’s outgoing transfers performed in Week 3 college football action:
CB Cristian Conyer – Coastal Carolina
Conyer recorded one solo tackle in Coastal Carolina’s 28-20 win over Temple to move Coastal Carolina to 3-0.
S Wesley Walker – Michigan
Walker ended three plays with tackles in the Wolverines’ 28-18 win over Arkansas State. Walker has not started a game yet for Michigan but has played a key role as a rotational backup in the secondary.
LB Elijah Herring – Memphis
Elijah Herring did not play in the Tiger’s 20-12 win over Florida State. Herring was the Defensive Player of the Week in Week 2 but was out with an undisclosed injury in Week 3.

CB Brandon Turnage – Ole Miss
After combing for seven tackles in his first two games for the Rebels, Turnage’s lone contribution to the box score was a pass deflection in Ole Miss’ 40-6 win over Wake Forest. The pass breakup came on a 4th and 6 in the red zone, in which Turnage blanketed his man in one-on-one man coverage with no safety help to prevent what likely would have been a touchdown.

S Tamarion McDonald – Louisville
The Louisville Cardinals had a bye week and will host Georgia Tech in Week 4.
CB De’Shawn Rucker – South Florida
Rucker has been a great addition to the South Florida Bulls, being a key member of the secondary as a starter. In their Week 3 win over Southern Mississippi, Rucker forced a fumble on his way to making four tackles in the game.
OL Addison Nichols – Arkansas
Center Addison Nichols exited early in Arkansas’s 37-27 win over UAB with an ankle injury. Nichols’ ankle was banged up going into the game and got aggravated when it was rolled onto. The starting center is expected to make a recovery for the Razorbacks Week 4 competition against Auburn.
S Jack Luttrell – Arizona
Luttrell was listed as a participant in Arizona’s 31-7 loss to Kansas State but did not appear on the stat sheet.
CB Doneiko Slaughter – Arkansas
Slaughter totaled a season-high seven tackles, as well as a pass breakup in the Razorbacks 37-27 win over UAB.
CB Warren Burrell – Georgia Tech
Burrell started in Georgia Tech’s rebound 59-7 win over VMI. Burrell did not play the entire game due to the large lead and only recorded one tackle. VMI gained only 92 yards through the air, large in part to Burrell and the rest of the Georgia Tech secondary.
DL Tyler Baron – Miami (FL)
Baron totaled two tackles and half a sack in Miami University’s 62-0 win over Ball State. The defensive lineman did not play the whole game due to Ball State’s large deficit.
