Five-star Tennessee offensive tackle commit David Sanders is returning to Knoxville for an unofficial visit as the Vols take on Kent State Saturday night at Neyland Stadium.

It’s the second straight week that Sanders is in the building to watch Tennessee football take the field. The Charlotte native was at Bank of America Stadium last week to watch the Vols dominate then-No. 24 NC State 51-10 in the Duke’s Mayo Classic.

Josh Heupel and his staff landing Sanders was one of their biggest recruiting wins in their three-plus seasons at Tennessee. The five-star offensive tackle committed to the Vols last month over a top group that included Georgia, Ohio State and Nebraska. Alabama and Clemson were also both involved in the ‘Tar Heel State’ native’s recruitment before he cut his list to four schools.
