Each week we’ll take a look at the performances of the players who transferred out of Tennessee following the 2023 season.

Here’s a look at how Tennessee’s outgoing transfers performed in Week 2 college football action:

CB Cristian Conyer – Coastal Carolina

After getting an interception in Week 1, Conyer was not on the stat sheet in Week 2. He was, however, listed as a participant in the game. Coastal Carolina defeated William & Mary 40-21.

S Wesley Walker – Michigan

Wesley Walker recorded one tackle in Michigan’s 31-12 loss to Texas.

LB Elijah Herring – Memphis

Starting for the Tigers, Herring had an outstanding game. In Memphis’ 38-17 victory over Troy, Herring finished with a stat line of eight tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

CB Brandon Turnage – Ole Miss

Turnage was a starter in Ole Miss’ 52-3 victory over MTSU. Turnage came away with 5 tackles in the Rebels’ win.

OT Gerald Mincey – Kentucky

Mincey started for a struggling offensive line for Kentucky as the Wildcats gave up five sacks in their 31-6 loss to South Carolina. Mincey, though, suffered a lower leg injury on the third drive of the contest in Lexington. The Tennessee transfer did not return to the game.

S Tamarion McDonald – Louisville

Tamarion McDonald had three tackles in his second consecutive start for the Cardinals. Louisville defeated Jacksonville State 49-14.

CB De’Shawn Rucker – South Florida

Rucker was a tackling machine in the Bulls’ matchup against Alabama, finishing with 10 solo tackles and one pass deflection in his second consecutive start. The Bulls gave Alabama a run for their money in Tuscaloosa but it was the Tide that pulled away with four fourth-quarter touchdowns in the 42-16 win.

OL Addison Nichols – Arkansas

Nichols started at center in the Razorbacks’ 39-31 overtime loss to Oklahoma State. The Arkansas offensive line gave up three sacks in the game but also contributed to an Arkansas rushing attack that rushed for 232 yards with an average yards per carry of 4.9.

S Jack Luttrell – Arizona

Much like his first game with the Wildcats, Luttrell was listed as a participant but did not finish in the defensive stat sheet in Arizona’s 22-10 win against Northern Arizona in Week 2. He did see some action in special teams, receiving one punt return which he returned for two yards.

CB Doneiko Slaughter – Arkansas

Slaughter was listed as a starter in the Arkansas secondary, recording six tackles and two pass breakups in the Razorbacks’ 39-31 loss to Oklahoma State.

CB Warren Burrell – Georgia Tech

Warren Burrell started his third consecutive game for the Yellow Jackets in their tightly contested 31-28 loss to Syracuse. Burrell finished with five solo tackles, as well as one pass deflection.

DL Tyler Baron – Miami (FL)

Baron had an impressive Week 1 performance and built upon that in Week 2 against Florida A&M. Baron sacked the Rattlers’ quarterback three times, and had five total tackles in the Hurricanes’ 56-9 win.
