Tennessee football dominated NC State 51-10 in the Duke’s Mayo Classic on Saturday night as they took care of business in the hardest non conference matchup on the schedule. The Vols now turn their attention to Kent State in its final out of conference matchup before opening up SEC play at Oklahoma in two weeks.

Tennessee’s week three matchup doesn’t look like it’ll be too competitive as the Vols opened up as 47.5-point favorites against Kent State according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under for the matchup is set at 62.5.

Tennessee is both 2-0 outright and 2-0 against the spread so far this season. The Vols have covered the spread by a combined 60 points. The over has hit in both of the Vols’ games this season.

Kent State is 0-2 against the spread this season failing to cover in matchups against Pittsburgh and St. Francis. The over and under have each hit in one Kent State game this season. Not only is Kent State 0-2 against the spread this season but they’re also 0-2 outright.

The Golden Flashes losing to Pitt to open the season was no surprise but Kent State was big favorites against FCS St. Francis on Saturday before losing 23-17.

Kent State was one of the worst teams in the entire FBS last season, posting just a 1-11 record with its only win coming against a FCS team. With the Golden Flashes already dropping their game against a FCS opponent, they look like they’re headed towards another terrible season.

Kickoff between Tennessee and Kent State is at 7:45 p.m. ET on Saturday night at Neyland Stadium. The SEC Network is broadcasting the game.
