Spoilers

If you’re anything like me, you might’ve had the same thought I did after the first 10 seconds: Is Tony Vitello going to show up?

Unfortunately, the answer was no, as the joke was built around Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark character for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But with the shared history that Manning and Vitello have, I couldn’t have been the only one wondering if the Vols’ National Championship-winning coach was going to sneak in as a quick cameo.

In other Tennessee news, though, how about Archie Manning sporting a Tennessee-SEC quarter-zip in the opening shot? There were a lot of Ole Miss references in the ManningCast’s “Auditions” promo before the 2023 season, so it’s funny to see Tennessee more prominently this time around.
