Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and a trio of U.T. football players met with the media on Monday to recap their final thoughts on Chattanooga as the page turns to North Carolina State this weekend.
The Volunteers and the Wolfpack will meet in Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC, for a neutral site matchup in the Duke’s Mayo Classic this Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Heupel led off the press conference on Monday as he spoke about Nico Iamaleava’s Week 1 performance, his early thoughts on containing NC State’s offense, depth and rotation across Tennessee’s roster, an update on Rickey Gibson’s status, and much more.
Heupel was followed by Tennessee safety Will Brooks, linebacker Jeremiah Telander, and tight end Ethan Davis on Monday.
