Tennessee basketball announced that it’s sold out its allotment of season tickets ahead of the 2024-25 season at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center.

The Vols season ticket sell out is 14,500 which accounts for 67% of the capacity at Tennessee’s home arena. It’s the second straight year that Tennessee has sold out its allotment of season tickets. However, Tennessee announced its season ticket sell out over two months earlier than they did a season ago.

Tennessee has sold over 13,000 season tickets for six straight full-capacity seasons at Thompson-Boling Arena as Rick Barnes has transformed the Vols’ program into one of the SEC’s best and one that is nationally relevant.

Expectations are high for Tennessee entering Barnes’ 10th season as head coach. The Vols are coming off the best season in program history when they won the SEC Regular-Season Championship outright and made the Elite Eight for just the second time in program history.

Tennessee returns key players like All-SEC point guard Zakai Zeigler as well as senior shooting guards Jordan Gainey and Jahmai Mashack. The Vols were active in the transfer portal this offseason where they landed North Florida shooting guard Chaz Lanier, Hofstra wing Darlinstone Dubar, Charlotte wing Igor Milicic Jr and Ohio State center Felix Okpara.

The Vols are also looking for contributions from second-year players JP Estrella, Cam Carr and Cade Phillips who all played sparingly as freshmen last season.

Tennessee faces Syracuse at home as part of the ACC-SEC Challenge and also plays a home exhibition game against Indiana. In SEC play, the Vols host Arkansas, Alabama, Florida and Kentucky.
