Tennessee revealed a handful of important dates on Tuesday morning, including this season’s Homecoming and Salute to Service games in November.
Homecoming will take place during the Vols’ Nov. 9 game against Mississippi State. Tennessee put a subtle Summit Blue accent in the announcement on Tuesday, suggesting that the Vols will continue its new tradition of incorporating the Summit Blue accessions on Homecoming.
Tennessee debuted their Summitt Blue accessions for Homecoming against UT Martin in 2022 with the all-orange uniform. The Vols then followed that up by incorporating the same accessions into the traditional orange-and-white uniform combination against UConn in 2023.
Tennessee’s game against Mississippi State is set for the night slot on Nov. 9, meaning that the game will either be played at 6:00 p.m. ET or 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Vols final home game on Nov. 23 will serve as Tennessee’s sixth annual Salute to Service night. The Salute to Service game typically includes a special Veterans salute halftime show from the Pride of the Southland Marching Band and a unique pre-game flyover, weather permitting.
Tennessee will take on UTEP in the Salute to Service game, which no time window has been announced for yet. The Vols will then travel to Nashville for an in-state clash with Vanderbilt to close out the season.
