Friday night presented an ideal night for football.
With clear skies and 80-degree temperatures, the Tennessee football team took to Neyland Stadium for the first scrimmage of the fall camp slate.
While the scrimmage was closed to all media and fans, head coach Josh Heupel did speak with the media after the event on Friday to give his thoughts on how things went under the lights.
Heupel discussed Nico Iamaleava’s performance, how Tennessee’s secondary battled against the Vols’ wide receivers, Tennessee’s running game and Peyton Lewis’s involvement, and much more.
Heupel was the only representative to speak with the media as no players were made available following the scrimmage.
