Five-Star Tennessee Receiver Target Releases Top Four, Announces Commitment Date

Five-star receiver Jaime Ffrench released his top four including Tennessee football on Friday afternoon. LSU, Miami and Texas joined the Vols in Ffrench’s top group and the blue-chip receiver is announcing his college commitment on Aug. 30.

Ffrench ranks as a five-star receiver and the No. 18 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Jacksonville native also ranks as the No. 4 receiver and No. 4 player in the state of Florida in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

A standout at Mandarin High School, Ffrench caught 62 passes for 1,247 yards and 14 touchdowns as the Mustangs fell in the state championship game.

Ffrench has taken three total visits to Tennessee including unofficial visits in March and May before taking an official visit in June. The five-star quarterback’s also taken three visits to LSU while taking a pair of visits to both Miami and Texas.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver took official visits to all four of his finalists in May and June with Texas receiving the final visit. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Texas is the favorite to land Ffrench followed by LSU.

Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains 21 commitments including from a trio of receivers— four-star Travis Smith Jr, four-star Radarious Jackson and three-star Joakim Dodson.

The Vols’ 21-commit 2025 recruiting class currently ranks No. 7 nationally and No. 6 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
