Less than 24 hours after kicking off the Vols’ Media Day in Knoxville on Tuesday, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel was back on the stage answering questions on Wednesday morning after the conclusion of the Vols’ first training camp practice.
Tennessee hit the indoor field on Wednesday morning with helmets and no pads. The Vols were forced into the indoor facility after the considerable amount of rain that fell on Knoxville this week. The Vols worked out for around an hour and a half, give or take, before wrapping up day one on the road to the season.
Heupel spoke to the media for a little under 12 minutes and detailed the offseason development for individual players, his initial reaction to the first day out on the field, and much more.
