Tennessee is getting an offensive weapon with four-star tight end Da’Saahn Brame.

Brame originally committed to Oregon on June 29 but flipped to Tennessee on Sunday afternoon after a weekend visit to Knoxville. The Vols continued to work hard on Brame with a push from tight ends coach Alec Abeln despite his commitment to Oregon, landing the top-five tight end on Sunday.

Brame is a lengthy prospect at 6-foot-6, 235 pounds. The Derby, KS, native excels using his height and strength to create mismatches on the field, which can continue to be advantageous in a Josh Heupel offense.

Brame lands as the No. 112 player overall, the No. 5 tight end, and the No. 4 player from the state of Kansas according to 247’s Composite Rankings.

During his junior season at Derby High School, Brame tallied an impressive 942 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on just 46 receptions.
