Tennessee Football’s Recruiting Class Moving Up Rankings After Landing Four-Star Recruit

Tennessee football made a splash on the recruiting trail on Saturday afternoon when four-star linebacker Christian Gass committed to the Vols over a top group that included Georgia and Southern Cal.

Gass marks Tennessee football’s 18th commit in the 2025 recruiting cycle and according to the 247sports composite rankings, Gass is the 10th four-star recruit to go along with eight three-star recruits.

It’s been a productive summer for Tennessee on the recruiting trail. Since the start of June, the Vols have now landed eight commitments including from six blue-chip recruits. In fact, four of Tennessee’s six highest rated commits have announced their pledge to the Vols over the last two months.
