Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel kicked off the Vols’ SEC Media Day slate with a press conference with the local media early on Tuesday morning. Heupel spoke with the media and answered questions prior to going out of the main stage in front of the entire conference media.
Dressed in a plaid grey suit jacket and a bright orange tie, Heupel looked relaxed as he entered his fourth SEC Media Days as the head coach of the Volunteers. Heupel handled the questions business as usual as he spoke with the local media for nearly 12 minutes.
Heupel touched on a number of topics during his press conference including injury updates for Peyton Lewis and Cam Seldon, leadership traits from Nico Iamaleava, building and relying on trust with each position group on the team, and much more.
