After teasing it earlier in the spring, Tennessee Football finally unveiled the 2024 edition of the Smokey Grey uniforms for the upcoming season.
The latest uniform design comes off the heels of a tribute to Condredge Holloway. This year, though, Tennessee is paying tribute to The Volunteer State with a Tri-Star design on the jersey, helmets, and pants. The off-balanced white stripe on the helmet and the pants represent the outer circle on the Tri-Star logo. The helmets are pattered after the Great Smoky Mountains.
The 2024 uniforms are also Tennessee’s first-ever uniforms to have “Tennessee” written across the chest.
“The 2024 edition of the Smokey Grey uniform series pays homage to the flagship university’s namesake — The Volunteer State,” Tennessee wrote in a tweet on Saturday.
