Tennessee earned Smith’s last official visit in late June just a week before he announced his commitment date. Smith also took official visits to Georgia, Auburn and Alabama. The blue-chip receiver has visited all of his contenders with relative consistency. In the last year, Smith’s taken four visits to all four schools in his top group including a visit to Knoxville for the Vols’ games against Texas A&M and Georgia last season.
Three of the four 247sports crystal ball predictions have Smith landing at Tennessee with the other prediction having Smith landing at Georgia.
Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains 16 commits including from two receivers— four-star Radarious Jackson and three-star Joakim Dodson.
The Vols’ 2025 recruiting class currently ranks No. 15 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings but a commitment from Smith would boast Tennessee’s recruiting class to No. 10 nationally.
