It’s hard to put into words just how accomplished Tennessee was during the 2023-2024 athletics year but there’s one that does a pretty good job:

Historic.

Tennessee earned its third-straight SEC All-Sports championship this year and finished with its highest ranking in the LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings with the No. 3 athletics department in the country and the top in the conference.

Tennessee was one of only two Power Five programs that saw all 20 sports reach the postseason in 2023-2024 with eleven of those Volunteer programs ending the season in the Top 10. This was the first year in program history where Tennessee saw full postseason attendance from their teams.

The Vols also earned four SEC Championships this season, with Tennessee basketball winning the SEC regular season, Tennessee softball winning the SEC regular season, and Tennessee baseball winning the SEC regular season and the SEC Tournament. Tennessee has won 12 SEC titles since 2021 compared to just two titles in the four years prior to 2021.

The Vols’ baseball team capped off the already historic year with the program’s first national championship in a thrilling series win over conference foe Texas A&M.

There truly is a revolution happening on Rocky Top and the Tennessee teams are feasting.
