Four-star receiver Travis Smith Jr. released his top four and announced his commitment date late last week, he announced on his X account.
Smith is announcing his college commitment Saturday, July 13 and is deciding between a top group that includes Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee.
A 6-foot-4 receiver, Smith ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 101 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. On3 sports is higher on Smith than any other recruiting service ranking him as the No. 59 player and the No. 10 receiver in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Smith is an Atlanta native that stars at Westlake High School. According to the 247sports composite rankings, Smith is the No. 13 receiver in the country and the No. 13 player in the state of Georgia.

The blue-chip recruit announced his commitment date coming off official visits to the four SEC schools that he’s announcing his commitment between. Smith officially visited Georgia the final weekend of May before visiting Auburn, Alabama and Tennessee in order the next three weekends.
Smith has taken four visits to Tennessee in the last year, unofficially visiting Knoxville for the South Carolina and Georgia games and then again in April. The blue-chip recruit has taken a similar number of visits to all of his top contenders including five to Alabama and Georgia and four to Auburn.
According to both the 247sports crystal ball and On3 recruiting prediction machine, Georgia is the favorite to land the instate receiver.
Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains 16 commitments with two coming from receivers— four-star receiver Radarious Jackson and three-star receiver Joakim Dodson.
After landing six commitments in the last two and a half weeks, the Vols’ 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 10 nationally and No. 5 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
