Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class entered the month of June as a borderline top 20 class nationally. But the Vols are red-hot on the recruiting trail and are flying up the recruiting rankings over the three weeks.

Since June 12, Tennessee football has landed six commitments with four coming from four-star recruits and two coming from three-star recruits. Josh Heupel and his staff have done most of their work along the line of scrimmage.

Tennessee’s landed three defensive linemen and two offensive lineman as well as a cornerback commit. Two of the defensive linemen are edge rushers while one is a strongside defensive end. Both offensive lineman project as interior offensive linemen at the college level.

Four-star edge rusher Jaydin Lofton was Tennessee’s first commit of the stretch followed by four-star interior offensive lineman Nic Moore, three-star defensive lineman Charles House, four-star offensive lineman Douglas Utu, three-star cornerback Tre Poteat and then finally four-star edge rusher Mariyon Dye on Friday afternoon.

When Loftin committed to Tennessee 17 days ago, it gave the Vols the No. 19 recruiting class in the country according to the 247sports team rankings. Dye’s commitment on Saturday pumped Tennessee’s recruiting class all the way up to No. 10 nationally.

Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class now contains 16 commitments and two of its four highest rated players committed in the last two weeks— Utu and Dye. Here’s a look at where the Vols’ recruiting class now ranks nationally according to various recruiting sites.
