Three-Star Defensive Lineman Commits To Tennessee Football

Three-star defensive lineman Charles House committed to Tennessee football over Alabama and Georgia on Saturday afternoon.

House ranks as a three-star recruit and the No. 612 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 288-pound defensive lineman ranks as 64th best defensive lineman in the country and the No. 14 player in the state of North Carolina.

On3 sports is higher on House than any other recruiting site, ranking him as a four-star and the No. 284 player in the country.

House took official visits to Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee this spring before announcing his commitment to Josh Heupel and his staff on Saturday.

The three-star defensive lineman also took visits to Tennessee back in February and then again in April before taking an official visit last month. He also took visits to South Carolina and Virginia Tech over the course of his recruitment.

House is Tennessee football’s 13th commit of its 2025 recruiting class and the third defensive line commit alongside four-star Ethan Utley and four-star EDGE rusher Jayden Loftin.

The three-star commit’s recruit bumps Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class from No. 17 nationally to No. 14 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
