Four-star interior offensive lineman Nic Moore committed to Tennessee football on his Instagram Thursday morning. The East Tennessee offensive lineman announced his commitment less than a week after taking his official visit to Tennessee.

Moore chose the Vols over a top group that included West Virginia and Vanderbilt. The blue-chip recruit also took visits to Louisville, Mississippi State, Auburn and Virginia Tech.

Moore ranks as a four-star commit and the No. 337 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-2, 300 pound offensive lineman also ranks as the 20th best interior offensive lineman and the 10th best player in the state of Tennessee in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

A Dandridge native, Moore plays his high school football at Jefferson County where he helped lead the Patriots to a 10-2 record during his junior season. Moore is also on the track and field team where he finished third in the shot put in the TSAAA 3A State Championships this season.

Moore originally announced plans to announce his college commitment last week before his Tennessee official visit but ended up postponing his commitment and visiting the Vols instead. Josh Heupel and his staff were able to make the visit county, landing the four-star offensive lineman.

Moore becomes Tennessee football’s 12th commit in its 2025 recruiting class and its second offensive line commit along with Oklahoma native Antoni Kade Ogumoro. Both of the Vols’ offensive line commits are interior offensive linemen but Tennessee is top contenders for a number of highly touted offensive tackles including five-star David Sanders.

The Vols 12-commit recruiting class now ranks 16th nationally and 7th in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
