Tennessee added another great moment to the Tony Vitello era on Friday night when Dylan Dreiling capped off a four-run ninth inning comeback with a walk-off single to left-center field.

Voice of Tennessee baseball John Wilkerson, as he always does, met the moment and provided a fantastic call of the walk off hit in the Vols’ 12-11 victory over Florida State.

Wilkerson, who has called Tennessee baseball games for three decades, has provided fantastic calls to a number of big Volunteer wins and moments in recent years. But this one may be his best.

Here’s the transcript of the call:

“Pitch by Hults, lined into the air towards center field, towards left-center field. That ball IS GOING TO GET DOWN. Dylan Dreiling has done it. The comeback is complete. Blake Burke scores from second and Tennessee walks it off. Four runs in the bottom of the ninth. This is a team that you just can’t count out. Fourth run batted in in the ball game. And Tennessee with four in the bottom of the ninth rises up to take down Florida State. It’s four runs for the Big Orange on five hits, two men left, the run batted in for Dylan Dreiling is his 67th on the season and none bigger from the sophomore from Hays, Kansas— family and friends in attendance for the heroics. Tennessee 12, Florida State 11. The Volunteers say ‘Hello Win Column’ for the 56th time. This one belongs to the Big Orange and this is Tennessee baseball.”

But the transcript doesn’t do it full justice. Listen to the call here.
