More From RTI: Tennessee Defeats Florida State With Four-Run Ninth Inning Rally

Dreiling has been Tennessee’s most-clutch player this season, and he delivered in more ways than one Friday night. An inning prior to his walk-off, Dreiling connected on an RBI single to cut Florida State’s lead to three runs in the eighth inning.

The eighth-inning run proved massive for Tennessee in the final frame, as it set Dreiling up to once again deliver in a big spot.

Leading up to Dreiling’s walk-off, Kavares Tears tripled, Dean Curley brought him home with a sac fly, Cannon Peebles worked a great walk, Christian Moore doubled, Blake Burke hit a two-run single and Billy Amick singled.

In one of the wildest college baseball games you’ll see, multiple Vols came through when it mattered most down the stretch. While Dreiling’s walk-off was the hit to end it, Christian Moore’s legendary night cannot be forgotten.

The star second baseman tallied five hits and hit for the cycle in the win, becoming the second player to ever hit for the cycle in the MCWS. Moore went 5-6 with two doubles, a home run, a single and a triple.

Moore and Dreiling combined for nine of Tennessee’s 18 hits on the night. The Vols’ four-run ninth-inning rally will go down as one of the best endings to a Tennessee baseball game ever, and the Big Orange will look to continue its winning ways in Omaha on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET against North Carolina.
