More than half of the NCAA Super Regional sites across the nation this weekend will feature a team from the Southeastern Conference.

Of the eight Super Regional host cities, four will be the hometown of an SEC team with only one conference member traveling on the road.

Tennessee, Kentucky, and Texas A&M – the top three overall seeds in the tournament – all advanced through the regional round to host the series this weekend. Georgia, the seventh overall seed in the tournament, will also be hosting a Super Regional series in Athens this weekend.

Florida will be the lone SEC team on the road in the Clemson Regional.

The Vols, Wildcats, Aggies, and Bulldogs all swept through their regional opponents with 3-0 records while the Gators went 4-1 in the Stillwater Regional. Florida made a comeback effort to go 3-0 in the final two days of the weekend.

The SEC lost six teams in the regional round with the highest-ranked being No. 5 Arkansas. The Razorbacks went 1-2 in the Fayetteville Regional as Kansas State eventually earned the weekend title.

The conference also saw tournament departures from LSU in Chapel Hill (3-2), Vanderbilt in Clemson (0-2), Alabama in Tallahassee (0-2), South Carolina in Raleigh (1-2), and Mississippi State in Charlottesville (2-2).

While not officially in the conference yet, both Oklahoma and Texas fell in the regional round. The Sooners went 3-2 in the Norman Regional (UConn advanced) while the Longhorns went 1-2 in the Bryan-College Station Regional (A&M advanced).
