The schedule is set for this weekend’s Knoxville Super Regional at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Tennessee’s series against Evansville begins on Friday and will run until Sunday if the series requires a third game. First pitch for the Knoxville Super Regional series opener is at 3 p.m. ET on Friday. First pitch for game two on Saturday is at 11 a.m. ET. If the series requires a third game, first pitch will be at 6 p.m. ET.
ESPN2 is broadcasting both game one and two of the series. ESPNU would broadcast game three of the series if it makes it that far.
Tony Vitello’s squad is back in the super regionals after sweeping through the Knoxville Regional last weekend. Tennessee trailed at the end of only two innings over the course of the weekend, outscoring Northern Kentucky, Indiana and Southern Miss 33-12 in three games.

Tennessee is back in the super regionals for the fourth straight season. They’re 2-1 in the previous two super regional series. The Vols swept LSU in 2021, fell to Notre Dame in three games in 2022 and defeated Southern Miss in three games in 2023.
Evansville prevailed out of the Greenville Regional after defeating host East Carolina 7-6 in the pivotal game seven on Monday. A four-seed, the Purple Aces defeated East Carolina twice and VCU once to advance to the Knoxville Super Regional.
Evansville enters the Knoxville Super Regional with a 37-24 (17-10 MVC) record. They made it to the NCAA Tournament by upsetting tournament team Indiana State in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Championship game.
The winner of the Knoxville Super Regional will face either Florida State or UConn in the first game of the College World Series on Friday, June 14.
