Major League baseball superstar Bryce Harper is rocking with the Vols ahead of the Knoxville Regional this weekend on Rocky Top.
In a postgame video from NBC Sports San Francisco on Wednesday, Harper could be seen with an orange-and-white VOLS hat at his locker for a postgame interview. Harper wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows in the video clip, though, as the baseball veteran was nearly struck in the head by a pitch at the plate, leading to a benches-clearing scuffle between the two teams.

So while Harper wasn’t necessarily in the mood to show off his hat, Harper clearly looks to be rocking with Tony Vitello’s Vols heading into the postseason.
Barstool Tennessee also recently posted a picture of Harper wearing a black VOLS baseball t-shirt during batting practice before a recent Phillies game at home.

Tennessee is the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament’s Regional Round and will host 2-seed Southern Miss, 3-seed Indiana, and 4-seed Northern Kentucky on Rocky Top over the weekend.
Tennessee will take on Northern Kentucky at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night. Stay tuned to Rocky Top Insider for more on the Vols’ baseball weekend in Knoxville.
