For the second time in school history, Tennessee has earned the No. 1 national seed for the 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament. With that perch come impressive odds for the NCAA Knoxville Regional the Vols will host this weekend.
Tennessee welcomes No. 2 seed Southern Mississippi, who the Vols defeated in last year’s Super Regional, No. 3 Indiana, and No. 4 Northern Kentucky to Lindsey Nelson Stadium beginning on Friday, May 31.
Here is the schedule for Friday’s first-round games:
- Southern Mississippi vs. Indiana, 1 p.m. ET (ESPN+)
- Tennessee vs. Northern Kentucky, 7 p.m. ET (SEC Network)
The winners of Friday’s games will square off against one another on Saturday, as will the losers of Friday’s games. It is a double-elimination format with games scheduled through Monday if necessary.

Two of the sports betting apps with the biggest names — FanDuel Sportsbook and Caesars Sportsbook — are in the game with regional championship odds. If you want to bet on the Vols to take the crown, you’ll have to lay some heavy juice because Tennessee must lose two games to be eliminated.

As is the case with any type of sports bet, it’s a good idea to shop around for the best prices when it comes to 2024 College World Series Odds.
Of the top sports betting apps, DraftKings is the only one that has any team favored ahead of Tennessee to win the championship in Omaha. At DraftKings, Texas A&M is the favorite with +500 odds, while Tennessee comes in second with +600 odds.
The other three industry giants have Tennessee as the favorite with odds of lower than +600, so if you want to bet on the Vols to win it all, you should place your wager at DraftKings Sportsbook.
It should be no surprise that the SEC dominates in the 2024 College World Series odds. At FanDuel, SEC teams occupy the top five spots with LSU, Kentucky, and Arkansas following the Vols and Aggies.
The non-SEC teams with the best odds are North Carolina, Clemson, and Wake Forest.
NCAA Baseball Regional Odds: Best Props on the Market
If all of that is not enough to satisfy your sports betting appetite, there are more markets to be found.
At BetMGM Sportsbook, you can bet on the number of SEC teams that will advance to the College World Series. Over 3.5 has odds of -150. Under 3.5 can be had with odds of +125. BetMGM has the same market for ACC teams with the total set at 1.5.
At FanDuel, you can bet on the exact matchup in the College World Series championship series. You can take Tennessee to face Texas A&M at 16-to-1 odds. There are many other options available with odds of 100-to-1 or greater.
If you don’t want to look quite that far ahead, you can bet on which teams will win each Super Regional, which is the same as betting on a team just to reach the College World Series.
Tennessee is the favorite with -135 odds to win Super Regional 1 with the top two teams in the Greenville Regional fitting in right behind with Wake Forest at +250 odds and East Carolina at +650 odds.
