Four-star cornerback Daryus Dixson lineup up his official visit with Tennessee football over the weekend, 247sports Greg Biggins first reported.
Dixson will visit officially visit Tennessee on June 14. It’s his third of three official visits following trips to Washington and Penn State.

Dixson ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 103 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. A Mater Dei standout in Southern California. Dixson ranks as the No. 11 cornerback and the No. 11 player in the state of California in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot, 180-pound cornerback has taken one visit to Tennessee to date. Dixson visited Knoxville in January for a Tennessee Junior Day. The blue-chip recruit hasn’t yet taken a visit to either Penn State or Washington but he has taken a number of other visits.
Dixson has visited local school USC as well as Georgia three times and has taken two visits to Auburn, Oklahoma and Miami. Landing Dixson would be an impressive and major recruiting win for Tennessee defensive backs coach Willie Martinez.
Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains 10 commits with three of them being defensive backs including three-star cornerbacks Tyler Redmond and Dylan Lewis. The Vols 10 commit recruiting class currently ranks No. 14 nationally and No. 7 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
