Tennessee baseball keeps rolling on, taking two out of three games over the weekend at Florida for its seventh straight series victory.
The Vols split a Friday doubleheader against Florida and trailed 3-0 in the series finale on Saturday before scoring 16 straight runs in a row to earn a run-rule victory over the Gators.
Tennessee has now won 12 of its last 14 SEC games are enter the final two week stretch of the regular season just one game back of Kentucky for first place in the SEC standings.
While Tony Vitello’s team is tied for second place in the SEC, they occupy the top-spot nationally in a number of rankings this week. Tennessee entered the week at No. 3 in every single rankings and after both Texas A&M and Arkansas dropped series on the road last weekend, the Vols are moving up in the rankings this week.
