It was a relatively drama free 2024 NFL Draft for Tennessee football. The Vols only had three players projected to be drafted and all three went relatively close to where they were projected to land.
Running back Jaylen Wright was the one Vol that did drop a little bit, with the Miami Dolphins selecting the 1,000-yard rusher in the fourth round.
After selecting North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye in the first round, the New England Patriots doubled down at quarterback and selected Tennessee’s Joe Milton III in the sixth round. Cornerback Kamal Hadden was the final Vol selected as the defending Super Bowl Champs Kansas City Chiefs selected the veteran corner later in the sixth round.
While only three Tennessee players heard their names called during the three-day draft an abundance of Vols signed undrafted free agent deals at the conclusion of the draft. In fact, nine different Tennessee players signed free agent deals including a pair staying in the state of Tennessee with the Titans.
Take a look at where they landed here.
