Tennessee basketball’s Elite Eight matchup against Purdue will tip off at 2:20 p.m. ET on CBS on Sunday afternoon as the first game of the double-header before Duke faces North Carolina State at 5:05 p.m. ET.

The Vols advanced to the Elite Eight for the second time in program history after knocking off three-seed Creighton 82-75 on Friday night.
It was a true team win for Tennessee as the Vols were down starting shooting guard Santiago Vescovi and a myriad of players stepped up. Jahmai Mashack stuffed the stat sheet with four points, eight rebounds, two blocks, two steals and two assists while playing great defense on Trey Alexander.
Jordan Gainey provided an offensive spark, scoring seven points while also playing solid defense throughout the game.

Josiah-Jordan James (15 points, four rebounds), Zakai Zeigler (18 points, six assists) and Dalton Knecht (26 points, six rebounds and five assists) led the way for Tennessee, but Tobe Awaka and Cam Carr and nearly everyone who played stepped up for the Vols.
Purdue is in the Elite Eight after knocking off Gonzaga 80-68 on Friday night. The No. 1-seed Boilermakers used a big second half to advance thanks to Zach Edey’s 27-point, 14-rebound performances and Braden Smith’s 14 points, 15 assists and eight rebounds.
The Vols and Purdue have had plenty of battles in recent years including an overtime thriller in the 2019 Sweet 16. Purdue also knocked off Tennessee 71-67 in the Maui Invitational back in November.
The two teams will collide again with the biggest stakes yet— a berth on the Final Four on the line.
