Garrett ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 130 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive lineman ranks as the 16th best defensive lineman and the 18th best player in the state of Georgia in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
While Garrett has yet to announce a top group, the unofficial visits he’s taken and the official visits he’s scheduled help tell us the story of the teams he’s truly considering.

The Bogart, Georgia native is taking his second visit to Tennessee this weekend and already has an official visit to Knoxville lined up for this June. Franklin has similar visit history to Clemson. He’s visited the Tigers twice and has an official visit lined up for June.
Franklin has visited the home state Bulldogs more than any other school. The blue-chip recruit has visited Athens eight times total including seven times in 2023. He also has a June official visit scheduled to Georgia.
The talented defensive lineman’s only scheduled official visits to Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee to this point. He’s also taken two unofficial visits to Alabama and an unofficial visit to both Auburn and Florida.
Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains six commits but none of them are from defensive lineman. Longtime Tennessee target and four-star defensive lineman Ethan Utley is announcing his college commitment next Friday.
The Vols’ six-commit recruiting class currently ranks No. 13 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
