Tennessee basketball’s Dalton Knecht has turned in one of the best seasons in program history. Knecht earned SEC Player of the Year honors already and now the All-American honors are starting to roll in.

A junior college prospect, Knecht played two seasons at Northern Colorado before transferring to Tennessee for his super senior season. The rest is history.

Knecht averaged 21.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game and was even better when the stakes got bigger in SEC play, averaging 25.5 points and 5.2 rebounds in the 18 conference games.

The 6-foot-6 wing scored 40 points once, 35-plus points five times, 30-plus points seven times and 25-plus points 11 times. Knecht has proven that he’s the best three-level scorer in the nation and is arguably the best player in all of college basketball.

With Knecht propelling the offense, Tennessee won the SEC Regular Season Championship outright for just the third time in program history and the first time since 2008.

Knecht’s elite play is now garnering him a myriad of All-American honors. See which outlets are listing Knecht as an All-American below.
