Four-star running back Tory Blaylock released his top six including Tennessee football over the weekend. The Vols joined Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas in Blaylock’s top group.

Blaylock ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 219 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Humble, Texas native also ranks as the 17th best running back in the country and the 32nd best player in the state of Texas in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

While Tennessee football made the top group for Blaylock, they have a lot of work to do to land the highly touted running back.
Blaylock has taken just one total visit to Tennessee football and it was in the summer of 2022. The Lone Star State native has taken five total visits to Oklahoma, four visits to Texas, two visits to Ohio State and one visit to Alabama. He hasn’t taken a visit to Oregon to date.
Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains six commitments including from Georgia three-star running back Justin Baker. The Vols’ six-commit recruiting class ranks 12th nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
