Eighth-ranked Tennessee baseball (12-1) is hosting the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles (4-7) Wednesday night in Lindsey Nelson Stadium in their second midweek matchup of the week. First pitch is at 6 p.m. ET. SECN+ has the stream.

The Vols enter Wednesday on an 11-game winning streak, having won their most recent game convincingly over Kansas State on Tuesday, 15-5. Tennessee’s offense exploded in the midweek victory, hitting six total home runs with freshman shortstop Dean Curley hitting three.
Additionally, Curley’s night was historic, as he became the first freshman to hit three home runs in a game at Tennessee and tied the single-game program record with three home runs. Furthermore, Curley was inches away from a fourth home run on the night which would have given him a home run cycle. Only two baseball players in the sport’s history have hit a home run cycle.
The 10-run win over Kansas State was Tennessee’s most impressive game at the plate so far this season, given the fact that the Wildcats were ranked a week ago.
In addition to Tennessee’s recent blowout over Kansas State, the Vols have swept their last two series against UAlbany and Bowling Green and have not lost a midweek contest yet this year.
