Four-star cornerback Onis Konanbanny locked in his official visit dates with Tennessee football earlier this week. The Columbia, South Carolina native plans on officially visiting Tennessee from June 20-23.

The Tennessee trip is one of three official visits that Konanbanny has scheduled to date. The blue-chip recruit will officially visit North Carolina and Penn State the two weeks before he visits Knoxville.

Konanbanny ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 296 player in the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect ranks as the No. 31 cornerback and the No. 3 player in the state of South Carolina in his recruiting class.

Konanbanny’s official visit to Tennessee will not be his first trip to Knoxville. He also unofficially visited the Vols twice in 2023— once in the spring and again in the fall for the Georgia game.

The Heathwood Hall Episcopal School standout has visited North Carolina three times, Georgia Tech twice and a number of schools including Penn State, Georgia and Ohio State once.

Despite being a Columbia native and holding a South Carolina offer, Konanbanny’s taken just one visit to see the Gamecocks to this point in his recruiting.

Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains six commitments including from two cornerbacks— three-star Tyler Redmond and three-star Dylan Lewis.

The Vols six-commit recruiting class currently ranks No. 10 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
