Tennessee baseball left-handed pitcher Chris Stamos and first baseman Blake Burke met with the media following the Vols’ 8-5 series-opening win over UAlbany on Friday night in Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Stamos had a solid relief outing in which he gave up just one hit and two runs (hit was a two-run homer) in three innings. Burke hit his first home run of the season in Tennessee’s win, giving the Vols two key runs with a two-run blast in the seventh inning.
