With Tennessee looking to build on a two-game win streak last week after defeating Arkansas and Vanderbilt, the Vols will travel east to take on Missouri in a conference showdown on Tuesday night. The Tigers beat Rick Barnes’ Volunteers twice last season (once in Knoxville, once in the SEC tournament) but have consistently struggled throughout the season so far.
No. 5 Tennessee (19-6, 9-3 SEC) will take on Missouri (8-17, 0-12 SEC) this Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. ET in Columbia.
Ahead of the game coming up on Tuesday, Tennessee assistant coach Rod Clark met with the media. Clark spoke about Tennessee’s fast style of play, what was working during the Vols’ wins against the Razorbacks and the Commodores, and why Tennessee’s freshmen class has been earning minutes on the court.
In addition to Clark, Tennessee guard Zakai Zeigler also met with the media. Zeigler spoke about bouncing back from last season’s losses to the Tigers, practice intensity translating to game habits, Josiah-Jordan James’ ability to play fast, and much more.
