The Conference Championship round of the NFL playoffs has officially concluded, and four VFLs saw action in Conference Championship weekend. Two advanced to Super Bowl LVIII.

See how each former Vol fared in this past weekend’s action below.

QB Hendon Hooker – Detroit Lions

Was active as the Lions’ emergency third-string quarterback in the Lions’ 34-31 loss to the 49ers.

Hooker and the Lions have been eliminated. Hooker did not play a snap in his rookie season.

WR Jauan Jennings – San Francisco 49ers

Caught one pass for eight yards in the 49ers’ three-point win over Detroit. Despite the lowly stat line, Jennings’ catch was came at a huge moment during the game.
San Francisco received the second-half kickoff down 17 points, desperately needing points to begin the second half. The 49ers quickly got across midfield but suddenly faced a third-and-medium on the fringe of field-goal range.
The play broke down as quarterback Brock Purdy was pressured, but Purdy escaped a sack and threw a moon ball over a Lions edge rusher to Jennings. The throw was too deep, but Jennings made an Odell Beckham-like catch to convert the first down and keep the drive going.

San Francisco went on to kick a field goal that drive, and those three points were the first of 27 unanswered for the Niners.
Jennings will play in his first ever Super Bowl on February 11.
