Tennessee Football Signee Bumped To Five-Star In Final Recruiting Updates

Tennessee football signee Jordan Ross received a nice bump in On3’s final recruiting updates on the 2024 recruiting class on Monday.

Ross, who was previously one of the highest rated four-stars in On3’s rankings, climbed up the rankings to No. 7 nationally and as a five-star recruit.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound edge rusher now ranks as the No. 20 player and No. 4 edge rusher in the 2024 recruiting class according to the On3 consensus rankings that equally balances out the rankings of all four recruiting services. 247sports and On3 rank Ross as a five-star while ESPN and Rivals rank Ross as a four-star.

A Birmingham, Alabama native, Ross committed to Tennessee in August over Florida and LSU. The Vestavia Hills High School standout has the build an athleticism as the sports’ elite pass rushers and competed in the Under Armour All-American game and the Polynesian Bowl.

With his ranking bump, Ross past five-star Tennessee receiver signee Mike Matthews as the highest rated recruit in the Vols’ 2024 recruiting class.

Tennessee’s 21-signee recruiting class ranks No. 12 nationally according to the On3 team rankings and the 247sports team rankings.
