Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and redshirt freshman guard Freddie Dilione met with the media on Friday in Knoxville before the Vols’ matchup against Vanderbilt this Saturday evening in Nashville.
Tennessee had an open week without a game scheduled for the mid-week but will return to action against their in-state rival on Saturday. Tip-off between the Vols and the Commodores will be at 6:00 p.m. ET.
Vanderbilt (5-13, 0-5 SEC) sits at the second-to-last spot in the SEC rankings after losing their last five straight games and nine of their last 10 overall. Tennessee (14-4, 4-1 SEC), meanwhile, has rattled off three straight wins after their loss to Mississippi State and found a victory in 10 out of their last 11 games overall.
The Vols are looking to extend their streak this Saturday evening on the road.
