Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and forward Jonas Aidoo spoke to the media on Friday in Knoxville ahead of the Vols’ conference game against Alabama this weekend.
No. 6 Tennessee will square off against Alabama at 2:00 p.m. ET inside Food City Center.
The Vols are 3-1 in conference play thanks to Dalton Knecht’s unbelievable scoring stretch for Tennessee. Knecht has dropped 103 points in the last three games and helped Tennessee claw out of a deficit against Georgia this past weekend. Knecht’s 39 points against Florida this past Tuesday in Knoxville helped propel the Vols past the Gators for another conference win.
One of the big factors in Knecht’s success is the play of forward Jonas Aidoo. The Vols’ big man has upped his game in the form of mid-range shooting and spacing which has really allowed Knecht to find his shots and set up his plays on the floor. Aidoo is averaging 11.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game this season.
Ahead of the Vols’ game against Alabama coming up this weekend, Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and forward Jonas Aidoo spoke to the media inside the Food City Center. Barnes spoke about his final thoughts from the Florida contest and touched on Alabama while Aidoo spoke about the in-season adjustments he is looking to continue to make.
