The Tennessee Lady Vols’ game against Mississippi State on Thursday in Starkville will be moved up two hours due to inclement weather.
The conference game, which was previously scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET, will now take place at 5:00 p.m. ET from Humprey Coliseum.
The contest between Tennessee (10-6, 3-1 SEC) and Mississippi State (15-4, 2-2 SEC) will be televised on the SEC Network.
The Lady Vols will enter the game coming off of a loss to Texas A&M in College Station but racked up six straight wins before the loss. Tennessee took down Auburn, Kentucky, and Florida in their first three SEC games of the season. Two of those wins, Kentucky and Florida, took place in Knoxville.

The key to the game on Thursday will be Tennessee’s scoring ability. The Lady Vols are averaging just under 78 points per game while the Bulldogs are only allowing an average of 59 points per game. According to AP News, the Lady Vols are 10-3 on the year when they can reach the 59-point mark, establishing it as a necessary mark to hit in Starkville.
Tennessee and Mississippi State will square off in Starkville at 5:00 p.m. ET on Thursday after weather changes moved the game up two hours. Check out the game on Thursday evening on the SEC Network.
