Class of 2025 receiver Marcus Harris is visiting Tennessee basketball this weekend, the blue-chip receiver shared on X earlier this week.

Harris’ weekend visit to Tennessee is his first of three consecutive weekend visits to the southeast. The Santa Ana, California native is visiting Miami the final weekend of January and Alabama the first weekend of February.

The 5-foot-11 receiver ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 86 player in the 2025 recruiting cycle according to the 247sports composite rankings. Harris also ranks as the 10th best receiver and the ninth best player in California in his class.

Harris’ weekend visit to Tennessee will be his first visit to Knoxville during his recruitment and a first opportunity for the Vols to become a major player in the top 100 prospect’s recruitment.

The Mater Deio standout has taken four total visits to Texas (two in 2023), three visits to Oregon and USC and two visits to Colorado, Oklahoma and Penn State. While Tennessee is playing makeup in Harris’ recruitment, they are hosting him on his first visit of 2024.

Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains five commitments but none of them are from receivers. The Vols are after a number of top receivers in the cycle including Chattanooga native Cameron Sparks.

The Vols’ five-commit 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 12 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
