Bills vs Steelers betting odds, props, predictions for AFC Wild Card Playoff

This Monday, Jan. 15, Josh Allen and his No. 2 Buffalo Bills take on the No. 7 Pittsburgh Steelers at home in an AFC Wild Card game. The Bills have been nearly unbeatable in Buffalo this year, going 7-2 on their home field. Can the Steelers make a notch on that record? The Bills vs. Steelers betting odds don’t seem to think so. The game originally was scheduled for Sunday afternoon but got moved to Monday to dodge the extreme wintry weather.

We’ve got everything you need to know about the Bills vs. Steelers, with betting odds, props, and our predictions for this AFC matchup. The game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET, with a broadcast on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. Betting on the game? We’ve rounded up the best sportsbook bonuses from top sportsbooks so you can get more bang for your buck when you wager on the NFL playoffs.

AFC Wild Card Bills vs. Steelers Betting Odds

The Bills are major favorites in this matchup against a struggling Steelers squad, with a 10-point spread on most online sportsbooks

Buffalo clinched their division in the final game of the regular season, beating the Miami Dolphins 21-14. That win vaulted them to the No. 2 seed in the AFC. The Steelers, meanwhile, finished 10-7 and third in the AFC North, landing them the final spot in the AFC playoff lineup.

Josh Allen is 3-1 against the Steelers, and the weather looks like it may give us the Buffalo signature: brutal cold.

Bills vs. Steelers Best Prop Bet: Josh Allen over 218.5 passing yards (-115 odds at BetMGM Sportsbook)

Allen may still be showing some inconsistency (only one game in the regular season was free of interceptions), but he’s also averaging 253.3 passing yards per game. He threw for 359 yards in their last game of the regular season.

Plus, he’s got a great record against the Steelers, and Pittsburgh’s defense is only so-so against the pass. The Steelers gave up an average of 227.1 passing yards per game over the regular season.

BetMGM Sportsbook has Allen’s total set even lower than some other sportsbooks, so we like the odds on this one.

Of course, for this one, keep an eye on the weather. If the forecast gets worse and there’s a lot of snow and wind, you might want to take the under on this and the total.

Bills vs. Steelers Prediction: Steelers +10 (-120 odds on Caesars Sportsbook)

Our caveat on the prop bet above holds here, too. It’s hard to imagine either team gets a double-digit lead over the other, with the weather forecast. The Bills have been an unpredictable team this year, and it seems like good value to go for the Steelers to keep it closer than 10 points. (Even without T.J. Watt.)
